You know, I really don't like it when people get stuff handed to them. A certain friend of mine just got a brand new guitar amp. This amp costs about $1800. Also, he's not even very good at guitar, but that's besides the point. Now, normally, I would have no qualms with this, but the problem is that my friend pretty much gets everything handed to him on a silver platter by his parents. This particular friend also got a 2010 Chevy Silverado earlier this year, as well as who knows what. Nice kid, though. </rant>

This was a nice rant as rants go HHPT :) umm this not being handed stuff on a silver platter all the time will only make a stronger individual out of you and a whole lot better than the-silver-spoon-in-my-mouth-joe

    Thanks!!

  8. What you can do is get rich and spoil your own children or learn something from the story you told. What you need to learn only you will know.

Plus there's nothing wrong with parents giving gifts to their children :)

  10. Feel your pain bud. I have a friend whose wife's parents had NICE jobs. Needless to say his wife likes spending money left and right and my bud (now divorced) is still paying out the wazzoo to get out of debt.
