I'm not really too sure what to write about today, so I figured I might as well right about music, seeing as I really enjoy both listening to and playing music. A lot of people think that I just listen to "screamo" based on how I look. Honestly, I don't know what "screamo" is. I listen to many different genres of music and I'm probably a lot more musically diverse than people would expect me to me. Some of the genres that I listen to (in alphabetical order, by the way) include: acoustic (not really a genre, but whatever), alternative, country, death metal, deathcore, emo, folk, grindcore, hardcore, hardcore/pop punk, indie, industrial, jazz, melodic hardcore, metal, metalcore, new age piano, pop, pop punk, post-hardcore, punk, R&B, rap, reggae, rock, and soul. As well as this, I also listen to quite a few bands that probably don't really fit into a genre. I really love music. I feel that there's a song for almost every situation and emotion in life. Just as a painter can look at a painting and be able to understand the message and the emotions portrayed by a painting, I feel that music can function the exact same way. It saddens me that people are getting so much exposure on television and the radio for creating music with no emotions or messages of any kind. Not that I really have a gigantic problem with mainstream music, don't get me wrong, I like some of the songs on the radio just as much as the next guy, but I think it's kind of messed up for talentless people to get famous when there are many other musicians who put there heart and soul into their work and get almost no credit. Oh well, that's life. </rant>
